We are Monash Water Polo
Welcome to Monash University Waterpolo Club based at the Doug Ellis pool on the Clayton campus. Established in 1984 Monash waterpolo has grown to be the largest and most diverse University Club in Victoria with membership drawn from over 20 countries We currently field multiple Men, Women and Junior teams in the Victorian Waterpolo competition and every year send teams to compete in the Inter-Varsity University Games. So if you're a gun player or just want to play with your friends or just enjoy the social enviroment and meet new people then Monash has a team for you. The friendships you will make will last a lifetime.
Get Involved
Our club has teams of all levels for interested competitors both male and female. Anyone with basic swimming competence willing to work hard to learn the skillset of the game is very welcome to come along to training!
In total there are 7 men’s leagues and 3 women’s leagues.
Our club has no formal procedure for new members to join. Interested players are invited to contact us and we'll invite you to come along to training, when ready to start competing we'll find a suitable team and the team manager of that team can then assist with the Water Polo Victoria registration process.
